We were delighted how the party went, it was such fun having friends and family young and not so young partying. The club staff were amazing and Manu’s curry has been described as simply delicious in thank you letters we’ve received and in person by those I have seen since.

50th Birthday Party Aug 24
We had the best night! The venue looked fabulous. Great communication and quick response from emails. Really helpful being able to have photos of previous events there as it does look very different during the day. Also, very grateful for the wine tasting meeting. Manu and his team were friendly and very helpful on the night. Would definitely use you again. Thank you.

Well let me start by saying a big thank you to you, Manu and your whole team, it really was a pleasure organising this all with you and the event went really well, despite the best efforts of British Summer time! I would have no hesitation in recommending WRFC as a great venue to hold a party and I look forward to hopefully organising events with you in the future.

Baby Shower August 24
Thank you for checking in, we had a fantastic time on Sunday – the venue was the perfect space for our baby shower as there was enough room for people to sit inside and out, kids were able to run around and play games outside and we also had plenty of room for our baby shower games! I’d also like to add that I was really impressed with the staff, they were so friendly, professional and happy to help with anything we asked. It really contributed to a wonderful day.

60th Party August 24
We had the most amazing night thank you. We couldn't have asked for better weather, which allowed the gorgeous venue to come into it's own. Everyone commented on what a wonderful spot it was.

10th Wedding Anniversary Party August 24
We all had a wonderful time, the place looked great and all the guests commented as they arrived as to how lovely the venue was. The staff were friendly and chilled but also really on it.

Hollymount School Leavers Party July 24

We held my daughter’s 1st birthday at Wimbledon RFC. It’s a great venue with a blank canvas that you can do so much with! The team from start to finish were all amazing. Karen was great to communicate with and answered all my questions (which I had a lot of). The team on the day were also great and super friendly,especially the team manager. I had lots of lovely feedback from the guests.
I would highly recommend!

Corporate Summer Party - Howdens Insurance - June 24
Every year we hold our Summer Party at Wimbledon Rugby and Football club. As always, this year we had a great time.
Karen was in touch with me numerous times before the event, and everything ran very smoothly. The only thing we couldn’t book was the weather, but the atmosphere in the bar and later the club DJ made up for that!
Manu and his staff were very attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. Due to the rain, the bar was busier than usual, but they were quick and efficient, and no one had to wait to be served.
The outside space is fabulous, we had outside entertainment and a BBQ catering company.

School Sports Day May 2024
The Rowans School had a very happy and successful day for their annual Sports Day, which ran smoothly in all aspects from the booking to the event day. We look forward to continuing our community links with the club. Thank you to all at WRFC.

Celebration of Life May 2024
All went well on Saturday. Manu and your team were all great. The process from first contact through to the event day was smooth. The sun even came out later in the afternoon!

It was the perfect venue, everyone enjoyed the space and the drapes and lighting looked very nice. Staff at the bar and venue were very friendly and Manu was super helpful. We will be back soon, have to find an excuse to party again :)

Local Sports Club AGM March 24
The Wimbledon Windmilers club was happy to visit the Wimbledon Rugby Football Club again for our Annual General Meeting this year. It suits us to use a sports venue for our meeting. The venue has the necessary seating, tables and audiovisual equipment, and provision of food and drink was easy. The bar creates a social atmosphere that means our guests lingered to socialise after the formalities. The booking and payment process was straightforward, with prompt and clear communications throughout. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you to the team at WRFC!

New Years Eve Party Dec 23
Our party at Wimbledon Rugby Club was a great success. We held a large gathering with three families and friends across a wide age range... young people from age 18 through to a group of over 60’s. Karen was really helpful with the booking and was as flexible as possible in terms of giving us the perfect event for our group. The venue is large enough to cater for a spacious seating area as well as a big dance floor. The bar area is huge too.
The team on the night were fantastic, warm and welcoming to us and all our guests, also incredibly hard working throughout the night. Thank you Manu for looking after us so well.
I would thoroughly recommend the venue, the facilities are great and the team there are superb.

New Years Eve Party Dec 23
We had our NYE at the clubhouse and it was a fabulous event – the venue is perfect for 150-200 and the staff were amazing . Manu and his team went over and beyond. Numbers fluctuated over the period of December – and having kept Manu updated he had the perfect number of staff behind the bar – there were no queue times when getting drinks ! We were able to go in with our own decorations and personalise it too. All in all fabulous ! would definitely rebook

Office Christmas Party Dec 23
‘We hired the Wimbledon Rugby Football Club for our annual office Christmas party on 1st December 2023. Karen was extremely helpful and professional prior to the event with helping us ensure we had everything we needed and with answering any questions we had about the venue. Manu and Rob behind the bar on the night were wonderful, they were really friendly, helpful and quick with making the drinks, and they ensured everyone was happy! We opted for buffet-style food, which came out in 3 servings every 30 minutes, which really worked for us to ensure everyone was fed and food was always hot! We also hired the star lite curtains from the club for the evening that really made the club fit for a party, we highly recommend hiring the Wimbledon Rugby Football Club for your parties and events, we will be back for sure! ’

Hindu Wedding Ceremony September 2023
The room looked great and everyone enjoyed our event. Ruth was extremely helpful and looked after us during the event - she was very accommodating. The tables and chairs were all beautifully laid out. We would definitely recommend the venue to other people - it was perfect for us! A lot of our guests were impressed with the hall - you may have some more customers coming your way! Thank you for all the help!

Surprise 40th Birthday Party - August 2023
I organised a surprise birthday party for my husband and we had a wonderful time - despite the English weather not playing ball! But which really didn't matter in the end as the venue is light and airy. The team were incredibly helpful both before the event when they put me completely at ease in organising the various elements and suppliers, and during the event when they went above and beyond in their attentiveness and ensuring a good time was had by all. The food was excellent and plentiful and I would certainly recommend the venue to others for a variety of occasions.

Thanks so much again for all your help in organising Karen, and a particular thank you to Manu who was very attentive and generally brilliant on the day.

It was a really super evening – we had lovely weather for it, and everything went very smoothly. Lots of complimentary comments about the venue from friends who hadn’t been there before.

The team were really excellent – very helpful, going above and beyond to help make the evening go well, and friendly and courteous at all times, even when we were probably outstaying our welcome at the end! All in all we couldn’t fault them or the venue in any way.

It was amazing. Perfect in fact! Right from the initial contact through to execution it was seamless. Lots of people commented on how lovely the venue was. We had lovely weather and a beautiful sunset. The team did a great job. She helped set the room up and the little touches of flowers on the bar were nice. I also received great feedback on the food, it was delicious. Thank you for all of your help.

Willington School Year 6 Summer Party - June 2019
BIGGEST and WARMEST thanks for everything you did to make our party such huge success. Everyone (boys, parents, teachers, siblings) LOVED it. It was a blast. The venue looked so special with the table cloths, the gazebo's, the sofas on the terrace, the drinks table etc and everyone loved the food. It was so special that you laid out the Brownies and cakes onto the large boards - they looked really lovely. So many of the guests only knew the rugby club as a Sunday morning rugby club and were so pleasantly surprised to experience it as a special event venue.

Please pass on my thanks to both the bar staff that night too - they worked so hard all night and were extremely helpful.

Please can we say a HUGE thank you to the team in the kitchen and bar area for the most fantastic party last night at the Club.

It really was a perfect evening - the weather was glorious, the BBQ food absolutely delicious and the drinks and I was delighted with it all and told the Chef and his assistant so several times!

So please do pass on my sincere thanks to everyone again - it is very much appreciated and we are already receiving emails from parents thanking us for a wonderful evening last night.

Wedding - July 2018
Club House Wimbledon was a perfect venue for our wedding Reception. It ticked so many boxes for us, from the amazing outdoor space to the fact that we could provide our own catering. Both Jen and Shaun were very accommodating and flexible. Communication with them was great and they made the process incredibly easy. Ideas, contacts and quotes for decorations/music/food were all provided but there was no pressure to use them and we were given the freedom to organise and set up the venue as we wanted. We decided to hire drapes for the walls and a dance floor which completely transformed the room. Thank you to everyone at the Club House for helping to make our day so special!

Wedding - May 2018
We really can not recommend this venue enough, it made our wedding day simply perfect! Organizing our wedding at the club was effortless and they gave us the flexibility of doing it exactly how we wanted by allowing us to use outside suppliers or their own recommendations. The staff were friendly and accommodating and we transformed the space both inside & outside into a magical wedding venue and it was exactly how we envisaged our day to be. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves too and complimented us with our choice of venue. We had a gloriously sunny day which allowed us to use the space to its full potential. 50th Birthday Party - June 2018
Thank you; we really had a fantastic time. All guests loved the venue (we had just the perfect weather!) and everybody enjoyed the food (compliments to the kitchen!). The bar staff was so friendly and efficient and Shaun was always everywhere to take care of things and make sure everything is going well (he even put up with some German music...)

It really was a very fun and relaxed evening and was a perfect way to mark the occasion. MANY THANKS TO ALL!!
