Good Afternoon Ye Mighty Dons!
Well it is that time of the year again. Pre-season is in full swing and and the word "hench" is being used more and more around the club.
However this Saturday sees one of the most enjoyable events of the season's summer calendar - the Jack Fishwick 7s.
This is a massive charity sevens tournament help every year at the club to raise money for various charities as well as for the continued rehabilitation of Jack following his accident in 2014.
Team registrations start at 9am with spectator entry opening at 9.30 am. Adult spectator entry is £5 and kids go free.
Throughout the day there is a feast or cracking rugby 7s action as well as netball with the rugby starting at 10am and the netball at 10.30am.In addition to this wealth of sport there are Barbecues beers and the usual hype that goes with a cracking 7s event - plus a live band so we can party well on into the evening.
You can see more about the day on the facebook page here:

HOWEVER - these days do not run themselves! Anna has, once again, put a load of work in but we still need some volunteers to raise a paw and lend a hand.
If you can help set up - the meet time at the club on Friday night is 6.30pm.
If you can spare an hour or two on Saturday it would be most welcome. You can contact Anna on:
jackfishwick7s@wimbledonrfc.co.uk
This is such a great event and one where we really set our stall as a community club for the year to come - so please do email Anna and offer to help.
If this is your first season at the club - it is really worth coming down and being part of something that makes our club community so very special.
Right - that's enough from me. Just talking about this has made me very excited. I probably need a lie down.
See you Friday / Saturday.
Big Love
Badger
