On Saturday 25 July, Wimbledon RFC opens its doors to the rugby community for the second Jack Fishwick Sevens.
Last season Jack was involved in a tragic accident which has, at the moment, left him with little feeling or useful function from the shoulders downwards.
Jack and his family have been overwhelmed with the support since the accident. This support, along with Jack's experience and skill as a rehabilitator, has driven him forward to start his rehabilitation programme.
This support has come from far and wide but most notably from those involved in the game Jack loves so much. Wimbledon RFC has set up the Jack Fishwick Sevens to bring together those Jack has played both with and against over the years for a day of rugby in the sun and to raise money for Jacks's continued rehabilitation.
Registration opens at 9am with the games kicking off at 10.30. There will be a set of pool games followed by a knockout competition.
Spectator entry opens at 9.30am, entry is £5 for adults, children are free. You will need to head to the front of the club house to pay, you will need a wristband in order to buy drinks, food, raffle tickets etc.
All proceeds from the day will go towards Jack's continued rehabilitation.
There will be a barbecue during the day and the party will continue into the evening with a live band.
We look forward to welcoming you to Wimbledon RFC.
